Insurance
Insurance programs provide WIBA and statewide members with the opportunity to secure a variety of coverage at lower, negotiated group rates.
As members, you and your employees have access to the following types of coverage:
Please note that WIBA insurance programs are designed for businesses of
2 to 50 employees for health or 2 to 9 employees for dental and
vision.
Special note: Current members of WIBA and our
statewide organization who are interested in enrolling in one of our
insurance programs, our dental plan, or our vision plan can only do so during the annual open enrollment period (April 15 – May 15).
New members joining during a non-open enrollment period have 60
days after joining WIBA or our statewide organization to enroll any
of the health, dental, or vision programs. If you do not enroll during this time period, you must wait for the next open enrollment period to enroll.
If applying anytime other than the open enrollment period, health
statements must be submitted for all groups applying for health
insurance.
Open Enrollment
for health, dental, and vision insurance
is April 15 to May 15.
This is the time to change your existing plan or to sign up for a new
plan.
