MISSION
KIBPAC supports and endorses incumbent state legislators and other candidates for the GeneralAssembly who:
- Support the WIBA/KIBC legislative program;
- Promote the tenets of the free enterprise system; and
- Pledge to make Kansas a better place in which to do business.
KIBPAC is supported by a Board of Directors and receives its funding from members of the Wichita Independent Business Association and the Kansas Independent Business Coalition.
All contributions to KIBPAC are voluntary. KIBPAC is established as a separate, segregated fund registered with the Kansas Secretary of the State.
POLITICAL EDUCATION AND ACTION IN KANSAS
The Wichita Independent Business Association is registered as 501C (6) non-profit organization underthe IRS code. Under this classification, WIBA is generally given a wide degree of latitude when it comes to communications with their membership in terms of both a political and legislative nature.
