Sponsorship Opportunities

Please make note - Sponsorships can be divided between companies, each one will receive recognition at the event sponsored. Also, all companies sponsoring at a level of $1,000 or more will receive recognition in the yearly membership directory.

Annual Meeting 2012

There are five ways to sponsor the WIBA Annual Meeting. This is WIBA’s largest event of the year and it is held in the spring to celebrate our successes and give brief reports. Last year’s speaker was Eric Close, TV actor from "Without a Trace". Attendance is generally between 150 to 300 people. The event is held at the Airport Hilton and includes the silent auction for the WIBA Scholarship Fund.

Each sponsorship level includes:

Pre-event publicity including press release and announcements
Recognition on all printed materials including invitation & program
Acknowledgement from podium at Annual Meeting
Acknowledgement in video at the beginning of event
Identification in the Membership Directory

In addition to the above items, the following sponsorship levels also include specific elements.
Host Sponsor: $2,500

Recognition on WIBA website and social media
Sixteen complimentary tickets in prime location - two reserved tables

Print Materials Sponsor: $2,000
The printed materials include the annual meeting invitation and the meeting program. Invitations are sent to approximately 1,000 people.

Board of Directors Meetings
The WIBA board meets each month with the exception of July and August. A light meal is served prior to the meeting. Meeting Sponsor: $400 for all 10 or $50 per meeting. Sponsorship Benefits:

Recognized on meeting notification and agenda
Recognized by the chairman at the meeting
Opportunity to speak for 2 to 3 minutes regarding company
Special signage at sponsored meeting

Member Orientation
These events are held quarterly. They introduce new members (or current members that wish to learn more) to WIBA, the leadership and staff.

Meeting Sponsor: $300 for 4 quarterly meetings.
Sponsorship includes:

Recognition on announcements and signage at the events
Receive table display area during orientation
2 to 3 minute presentation to attendees
Receive list of event attendees

Monthly Luncheon Guest Sponsorships
Sponsors the first time guests attending the monthly luncheon.

Meeting Sponsor - $400 luncheon. (12 available)
Sponsorship Benefits:

Recognition and opoortunity to speak about your company for 2 to 3 minutes at the luncheon
Announcement of the sponsorship in the WIBA Issues, the monthly newsletter, and all announcements

Face to Face Forums

The forums are held every other month to provide WIBA members personal contact with the top elected and appointed officials fromSedgwick County, the City of Wichita, the Wichita Public Schools, the South Central Kansas state legislators, and the staffs of our U.S. senators and members of the House of Representatives. Attendance varies from 45 to 75 people. Presenting Sponsor - $400 per event. Sponsorship Benefits:

Recognition on announcements and signage at the events
Recognized at the podium during the luncheon
Two reserved seats

Government 101
These are programs specifically designed to teach members about certain aspects of government. Past programs have included: how to lobby, the legislative process, taxation, and how city government works. Presenting Sponsor: $200 per program. Sponsorship Benefits:

Two seats

Business Your Way Mixers
The Business Your Way Mixers are one of WIBA's best attended networking events! Held every other at various community and member venues, the BYW's are a great way to meet and network with 50 to 100 other business owners. Each mixer has a "theme" and sponsorships are available from $50 to$400 for each mixer. Six events available. Sponsorship Benefits:

Opportunity to sidplay company materials during the event
Recognition on announcements and signage at the event
2 to 3 minute presentation to attendees

WIBA Educational Seminars
The seminars provide information and tools you can use each month with the exception of December. Presenters are WIBA members on subjects ranging from social media to tax changes, to how to handle difficult employees. The seminars provide information and tools you can use each month with the exception of December. Presenters are WIBA members on subjects ranging from social media to tax changes and how to handle difficult employees.
Presenting sponsor: $750 for 11 seminars or $100 each.

State Legislative Dinner in Topeka
Each year WIBA members travel to Topeka for dinner with area state legislators in an informal and comfortable setting. Participating members have commented that it is the most relaxed method they have found of
interacting with their legislators.

WIBA Issues Newsletter
The newsletter is sent electronically each month to approximately 600 and more than 500 are mailed. WIBA Issues contains information on the month’s events highlighting the monthly luncheon speaker. Articles by the WIBA chairman, members, and others, such as congressmen and senators provide timely and on point information and opinions.
Sponsor: $1,000 for complete year or $100 per month. Sponsorship Benefits:

Ad on front page with company logo and link to company website
Printed ad is 4” x 1.5”; jpeg, pdf, or tiff file provided by company

Website
The WIBA website has been improved to include six one-minute videos on the benefits of WIBA membership. An avatar answers frequently asked questions. The online directory and calendar of events are must-see areas for active WIBA members.

Presenting Home Page Sponsor: $1,000 annually
Only one sponsor per twelve month period. Sponsorship Benefits:

Company logo placed on the bottom of the home page and all pages of the WIBA website with a link to the sponsor’s website (excludes government affairs and events page)
Identification in the Membership Directory

Calendar of Events Sponsor: $500 annually
Only one sponsor per twelve month period. Sponsorship Benefits:

Banner ad in jpeg, pdf, or .gif file provided by company
Banner size logo sponsorship featuring the WIBA members sponsor with a link to the member’s website on the WIBA events calendar page, the main source for site visitors to view upcoming WIBA events, make reservations and pre-pay for events.

Page Sponsor: $300 annually
Your sponsored page can be selected to maximize and/or target your sponsorship impact. Page is subject to review and approval by WIBA staff. Sponsorship Benefits:

Banner size logo sponsorship featuring the WIBA member sponsor with a link to the member’s website on one of many internal WIBA web pages (governmental affairs and events pages not included).

Governmental Affairs page Sponsor: $1,000 annually
The government affairs section of the WIBA website is home to Bill Tracker, a system to follow the status and progress of bills in the state legislature, and CapWiz, a system that provides information on your representatives, alerts on issues of importance to our members, and an easy way to contact our representatives. This page will have only one sponsor per twelve month period
